BY CAR:

From Totnes:
Take the A381 from Totnes, and take a left turn at the Halwell petrol station on to the A3122, continue towards Dartmouth town centre.  Look for Longbow Barns on the left as you approach College Way (down towards the River.)  Look out for the Britannia Royal Naval College Top Gate, the entrance to Longbow is just after that!

From Paignton:
Take the A379 from Paignton towards Kingwear and Dartmouth.  You then have the choice of either of the two ferries, we recommend you take the Higher ferry as this is a more direct route.  Once you have left the ferry head out of town following the signs for Totnes, this will take you up College Way which runs alongside of the grounds of the Britannia Royal Naval College.  As you approach the top of the hill, Longbow barns is on your right.

BY TRAIN:

The nearest mainline railway stations are: TOTNES & PAIGNTON.  From either station you have a choice of bus or taxi service, with the added options of the River Dart cruise from Totnes or the steam train service from Paignton to Kingswear, just across the river from Dartmouth.

BY BUS:

From Totnes:
1.  Leaving the railway station walk up to the main road, cross over using the pedestrian crossing and take the 93, 111 and 112 service (not available on Sundays) from the nearest bus stop.  Journey time is approximately 30 minutes.  View: http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/southwest/devon/timetables/index.php for times.

2.  To take the river boat trip down river to Dartmouth, contact Riverlink (www.riverlink.co.uk) for their sailings.  Their timetable for the March - October sailings is usually available mid-February.  To reach the departure point at Vire Island in Totnes, you can either take a bus, taxi or walk (about 1 mile).

From Paignton:
1.  By steam train - without doubt a very beautiful journey from the sea at Torbay to the River Dart!  Operating from March - October, four return services per day in the low season and nine in high season, this has to be the most scenic way to arrive in Dartmouth.  After the 30 minute journey arrive at Kingswear and take the ferry across to Dartmouth.  Further  details from Riverlink as above.
